Shanghai plans to double scales of IC, biomedicine, AI industries in 14th Five-Year Plan period, mayor
East China's Shanghai will strive to promote the scales of the three leading industries, namely integrated circuits (IC), biomedicine and artificial intelligence (AI), to double during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), said the city's mayor Gong Zheng, in the government work report delivered at the fifth session of the 15th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress on Sunday.
